Robert Hall of Tampa, Fla., was convicted last week of three felony counts for sexual offenses involving a 16-year-old girl after a jury trial.
The convictions were returned on charges of sexual battery, attempted rape, and rape. The crimes were committed last August when Hall was in Rappahannock County visiting relatives. The victim was a distant relative by marriage of Hall’s, and the offenses occurred in a family home, according to testimony at the trial.
