Mrs. Ethel Bailey spent last weekend with her daughter Mrs. Mary Brown in Captial Heights, Md. Sunday they attended the graduation of Mrs. Bailey’s niece Rene Williams at Morgan State College in Baltimore, after graduation a party of seventeen had dinner at The Inner Harbor.
Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley were Wednesday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Pflazgraf in Fairview Beach along with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Timms of Brazenton, Florida. Mrs. Jesse Curtiss of Occoquan and all had lunch in Colonial Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Edie Taylor were visitors in the Pflazgraf home also.
Mrs. Margaret Carroll of Arlington is spending a few days with her brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley.
A birthday cookout was held recently at the home of Solomon Bruce in honor of his son-in-law John L. May.
Guests included Junior and Daniel Pullen, Linda and April Eppard, Linda Pike, Brenda Glanagan, Moe Fletcher and Charles and Mary Leake of Chester Gap.
Jean May recently vistied with her sister Eleanor Pullen.
Congratulations to Miss Rappahannock Wanda Payne who won a plaque for Best Appearing Miss County 1993 at the Sperryville Fireman’s parade held Thursday night, June 3.
