Mrs. Carroll Petty of Front • Royal was a Saturday guest of Mrs. Hazel Hawkins and together they had dinner at Golden Corral in Culpeper.
Fred Greene of Annapolis, Md. and a former native was in town over the weekend to attend his class reunion at Holiday Inn. Mrs. Virginia Dalton of Richmond and Miss Gertrude Lewis of Stonehouse Mountain Road, retired teachers also attended the reunion.
Novum Baptist Church has called a full time pastor, the Rev. John Gustauson began his pastorate there on May 30 and he, his wife Nancy and children David and Dana are residing at the church parsonage. For those in the area a hearty welcome is extended to attend their Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. and worship services following at 11 a.m.
A Joy Quartet from Pensacola Christian Colleges, in Pensacola, Fla. performed at the Hope Hill Baptist Church on Saturday evening and was enjoyed by all in attendance.
