Youths need donations Marketable items are needed for an auction to help area youths attend summer basketball camps at Virginia Commonwealth University (boys) and James Madison University (girls). The auction will be held July 23 at the Amissville Fire Hall, and features a $1,000 raffle ticket drawing. Natural history camp registration Registration is open for the sixth Natural History Day camp at Horseshoe Hollow’ Farm, Washington, June 284uly 9. Campers will explore forests, meadows, rivers and ponds, and study wildlife, plants and ecology. The camp is open to boys and girls ages 8-12. Tuition is $120. Revercomb reunion The Revercomb reunion will be held at the Flint Hill Public House from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 12.
RAAC anniversary RAAC will be having its 10th anniversary at The Theater at 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 13. Admission will be $5 which will entitle you to light hos d’oeuvres and entrance to the movie.
Summer hours at Library Starting Monday, June 14 Rappahannock County Library’s new summer hours are as follows: Monday and Tuesday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Wednesday 9 a.m.-8 p.m.; Thursday and Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

A moveable feast. Diners can enjoy a pleasant afternoon of dining at a variety of different bed and breakfast inns in Rappahannock County. Participants will be served a course at one inn, and them move to another to continue the meal. The repast is scheduled for two Sundays: July 4 and September 12. The cost is $60 per person.
