Perhaps the legislature should consider adding “entertainment” to goods as a category that is covered by the sales tax. ,
We frankly doubt that crime will be reduced by passage of the “three strikes and you’re in for life” legislation, and we worry that the parental notification bill for abortions will lead to the return of botched self-induced abortions, but both measures were strongly supported by the voting public.
We’re waiting to see what affect the welfare reform bill will have.
Finally we hope the new laws on drunk driving will indeed remove drunk drivers from our roads.
