Also on Monday James Riley Williston Jr., 26, of Washington, was sentenced to nine years in jail. He was sentenced to 38 years in jail, with 29 years suspended, for grand larceny, breaking and entering, and check forgery charges. He pleaded guilty to the charges eh Nov. 11, 1993.

According to the charges, Mr. Willison broke into the house of Clydetta Lynn in Flint Hill, forged nine checks on the accounts of Mrs. Lynn and Pam Lynn of Washington, and stole Mrs. Lynn’s car. Mr. Williston will be on supervised probation for five years upon his release from jail.

Robert Adam Love, 20, of Sperryville, entered into a plea agreement, which sentenced him to five years in jail, with 90 days to serve. He was convicted of stealing guns from Joel Whitfield. After
