Two local bar associations have endorsed Rappahannock and Fauquier County Circuit Court Judge W. Shore Robertson for a slot on the Virginia Court of Appeals.

Gary Pearson, Fauquier Bar Association president, said three seats on the Court of Appeals may soon be open. The association passed a resolution on Monday supporting Judge Robertson for one of the slots.

“We‘think he’s an excellent candidate,” Mr. Pearson stressed. “He's a very good judge here.”
