The program was called The New College of Global Studies. Their idea involved educating so that the graduate of this program would see and live in this world as though all people were interdependent, as is the environment and the population. Now because of these budget cuts students and this country’s future suffer the loss of this opportunity along with the decline of quality higher education and the lack of much needed financial aid.
Supposedly. Gov. Allen's priorities are education, economic development and giving people skills to stay off welfare.
What I see is a short sighted misinformed government that has forgotten that education and prevention are 99 percent of the battle.
