At last, exams are finally over and we can concentrate on the more meaningful things like the Student Council Association's Valentine’s Day preparations. The SCA will be sponsoring a dance from 8 to 11 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17. The SCA is also selling carnations to be delivered on Valentine’s Day. There are three varieties available: white for friendship, pink means someone special and red is I love you. The cost is a dollar each. Be sure to show your Valentine you care because a holiday without flowers is the pits!
In addition, the student government is collecting non-perishable food items and summer clothing for children ages newborn to eight years old. The drive will benefit 30 children at Nsgamba, a Ugandan orphanage.
