a “long-shot” for the judgeship, Mr. Parker said he is vying for it nonetheless.
“I think it would be fascinating work ... and I feel like I have something to contribute,” he said.
Mr. Parker said he would bring a broad range of legal experience to the judgeship, having practiced criminal and civil law in local, state, federal and juvenile courts.
The Fauquier County Bar Association also decided Monday to endorse Loudoun County Circuit Court Judge Thomas Home for a seat on the Virginia Supreme Court.
