and "First Parrish Church" epitomizes the characteristic red blaze of a New England sugar maple in fall. These works are simple, moving and masterfully done.
Ruth Clinard also has three strong landscapes in the show entitled the Waterford series. The color and composition are effective although I feel that if the artist could incorporate, more light and contrast the painting would be even more interesting.
Martha Sheets Knight is a miniaturist in the true sense of the word. Her tiny, tiny and exacting works are well executed and quite amazing.
