How important was education to the blacks in the first half of this century? What were the values stressed and what was it like to walk to school in all sorts of weather to the one and two room schools located in our community’s’s scattered towns?
These are some of the questions and other related matters that the participants in the program at the County Library will discuss at 8 p.m this Friday, Feb. 10.
