Spaghetti Dinner
The Washington Volunteer Fire Department will have an ail-youcan-eat spaghetti dinner from 6-8 p.m. on Feb. 11. The menu consists of spaghetti, choice of sauce, salad with a choice of dressing, bread and an assortment of desserts.
Pre-School Story Hour To Begin
The Rappahannock County Library Story Hour for pre-school children, ages 2-5, will start at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15 and continue each Wednesday through March. The program of songs, finger pjays and a story will last about 30 minutes. Children will need to be accompanied by an adult. No pre-registration is necessary.
NSDAR Plan Luncheon
The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, NSDAR will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 14, for a Dutch Treat Luncheon at the Holiday Inn in Culpeper at 11 a.m. Please note time change. Mrs. Arthur F. Stocker. State Literacy Chairman, will speak on the challenges facing the literacy program.
Movies By Animal League
The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League will be showing two movies on Saturday, Feb. 11. The Black Stallion will be shown at 3 p.m. and National Velvet at 7 p.m. Ticket prices will be $5 for adults and S3 for kids under 12. If you wish to attend both movies ticket prices will be $9 for adults and $5 for kids under 12. For more information call 9373283.
RAA Activities Planned
An RAA Coaches Meeting will be held at Rappahannock County Library at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 16.
RAA baseball sign-up will take place on Saturdays, Feb. 11, 18 and 25 from 9 to 1 at Stuart Field, and 10 to 1 at the Rappahannock County Library. Birth certificate and registration fee are due at time of sign-up. Fees are: $30 for first child, $25 for second child and $15 each for three or more children. For 1-Ball (ages 5 to 7), the child should have reached the age of 5 by Dec. 31,1994.
