was a member of the Front Royal Methodist Church, Front Royal Oratorio Society and Royal Oak Senior Citizen Bowling League.

Joe is survived by three children, Nada Cooke, a teacher who resides in Lake Junaluskat, N.C.,, David Garber, a teacher who resides at Waynesville, N.C. and Gloria Harris of Washington.

He has five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his two brothers, Isaac Jonathan Garber of Harrisonburg and William Jacob Garber of Elizabeth, Pa. and two sisters, Anna Garber Crist and Mary Garber Jenkins of Bridgewater.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19 at Front Royal Presbyterian Church. His body was donated for medical study of Parkinson’s disease. Any expression ot sympathy is encouraged to be donated to the Masonic Children’s Hospital.
