The Potomac Appalachian Trail Club maintains over 900 miles of hiking trails in the area including the Appalachian National Scenic Trail and other hiking trails in Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Maryland.
The club also seeks to foster public appreciation and use of the national and state parks and forests. The club would like additional members.
