The culminating activity for the WCDS girls’ varsity volleyball team was the October 28th Delaney Conference tournament held at Fredericksburg Christian School involving eight schools.
The WCDS girls’ team placed third beating Shenandoah Valley Christian Academy (15-9, 10-15, 1511) and Emmanuel Christian Academy (15-6, 15-1, 15-13). WCDS’s only loss was to Fredericksburg Christian Academv <2-15, 3-15, 5-15).
Coach Pam Henry said, “This is the first time in five years of coaching at WCDS that the team ... placed in | this end of the season tournament.
