Waple has returned home following a few days in the hospital.
Our thoughts and prayers also j continue for Mrs. Ruth Davis. She i was still in Intensive Care Monday j morning. She had by-pass surgery last 1 week.
We had several birthdays last week. Special congratulations to Mrs. Martha B. “Mattie” Fletcher upon her 107th Thanksgiving Day. She received many cards, flowers, and gifts, including a letter from President and Mrs. Clinton. She lives in neighboring Sperryville.
Very special wishes also to our own Mrs. Frances Segrest. She was 90 on Nov. 21.
Melanie Marcus celebrated her special day Nov. 25.
