Finally, we thank the Rappahannock News editor Sharon Kilpatrick for keeping in touch with us and photojournalist Cindy Mahan, for the fine article last week which formally introduced the wrestling program.
We are excited about this “winter” sport and want readers to know there is room for more wrestlers — especially in grades 7-9 — as we work to build a junior varsity team at the high school next year.

A Great
Evening
To the Hditor:
What a great evening! Parents and children had a great time together, dancing, clapping and singing at the elementary school on Nov. 10. The event was sponsored by three area non profit groups: RAAC, which organized Friday night’s event, the PTO which arranged for refreshments and the Curriculum Enrichment Programs.
Thanks to this last group, the elementary school administration, and RAAC which helped pay for half of the classroom workshops, Slim Harrison spent two days at the Elementary School teaching and entertaining the students in the musical heritage of our Rappahannock community.
