Breakfast with Santa

The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department is sponsoring a breakfast with Santa from 8 a.m. to noon, on Dec. 9. The cost is S5 for adults and S5 for children w hich includes a photo with Santa.

The breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, coffee, and orange juice. They also have apple butter for sale Si 8 a gallon and $4,50 a quart. For more information call 636-3279 or 635-6392.

Tree Lighting Ceremony Planned

The mayor of Washington Virginia cordially invites all Rappahannock and town residents to join in the Tree Lighting ceremony at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8 in front of the courthouse on Gay Street in Washington. The Rev. John Pendleton of the Promise Land Baptist Church and First Baptist Church w ill be commemorating the onset of the 1995 Christmas season.

New Year's Eve Dance Set
