Four accidents were investigated by the State Police this week in which drivers ran off the road.

On Dec. 13 about 4:15 p.m., Gregory Daniel Hickerson, 26, of Chester Gap, lost control of his 1988 Ford 2-door on a curve. He ran off , Route 610 in Chester Gap, striking a fence and tree, but was not injured. The car sustained $2,000 damage. Trooper Chuck Moore charged Mr. Hickerson with reckless driving.

About 2 p.m. on Dec. 13, icy roads caused Becky W. Parrish, 35, of Viewtown, to lose control of her 1989 Volvo station wagon on Route 729. ^ , The Volvo ran down an embankment, striking trees, and causing $5,000 damage to the station wagon. No injuries were reported. State Trooper Chuck Moore investigated the accident.
