Armstrong Jr.
Edward Brent Armstrong Jr., 88, of Amissville, died on Friday, Dec. 15 at Annaburg Manor Nursing Home in Manassas.
He was bom in Waterloo on Nov. 22, 1907.
He was retired from Warrenton Training Center and was a member of Jeffersonton Baptist Church, where he was past Deacon of the Church, a past Ruritan Club member and local farmer.
His parents were the late Edward B. Armstrong Sr. and Ellice Button Armstrong.
His wife was the late Dorothy S. Armstrong.
Survivors include one son, Robert Armstrong of Nokesville; one daughter, Mary Ellen Hunter of Annaburg Manor Nursing Home, Manassas; one brother, Franklin Armstrong of Baileys Cross Roads; two sisters, Ellice Browning of Warrenton, and Lydia Spiker of Leesburg.
Also surviving are three grandchildren, Valerie Kenney, Bryan Armstrong and Deborah Mills.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Dec. 18 at Jeffersonton Baptist Church with the Rev. Marshall Braylo officiating.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
