New librarian Dave Shaffer reported that more and more people are using the library’s Internet access. He said he may have to go back to a policy of having people sign up to use the computer to access the Internet. He has had to train people to use the service, feels the need for more training himself, and will attend a training session this winter. “It’s one of our greatest resources,” he said.
Chairman Roberta Anderson said the transition to Mr. Shaffer as director had gone very smoothly.
Everyone commented on the improved driveway.
Mr. Warner said it had been fixed by Steve Critzer who had cut down the bumps and brought in a new type of material for the entrance.
Mr. Shaffer reported that he is running out of space in the basement to store books for the next book sale.
