Good Friday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Marshall Clark in celebration of his birthday were Mr. and Mrs. Bernard LeSueur and Joseph of Culpeper, Rhonda Clark and Nathan Almarode of Front Royal, Mr. and Mrs. John Clark Jr., Stacey and Amanda, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Pullen, Mrs. Debbie Krtick and Sean Michael, all of Washington, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Wayland and Tiffany. Before the dinner the children enjoyed an Easter egg hunt.
The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad will sponsor their annual Miss Rappahannock pageant at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 20 at Rappahannock Elementary School.
Rehearsal for the pageant will be at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16. Female residents of Rappahannock County between the ages of 2-19 are eligible to participate in the pageant. Male residents of Rappahannock County between the ages of 2-6 are eligible to participate in Little Mr. Rappahannock. Special events include the sisters category and the Mother-Daughter category.
Raffle tickets for various prizes are currently available from the members or may be purchased on the evening of the pageant.
