In “Virginia’s Gateways to the World,” an airways map shows the location of more than 70 airports in Virginia. By pushing one of three buttons, colorful lights show visitors the locations of different types of airports from Accomack County the Blue Ridge. A Global Positioning System satellite receiver shows the precise location of the AirMobile wherever it may travel.
Each RCES class in grades 2-7 will either tour the AirMobile or have representatives from the museum come to their room for a workshop.
