Two surveyors from Maryland were cited for trespassing Thursday on the property of James McGrail on Route 634 in Huntly.
Kirby D. Zellers, 49, of Frederick, Maryland, and Rollin W. Trigg, 48, of Smithsburg, Maryland, were released on summonses after they were found to be trespassing. They had been surveying on adjoining property.
Jacob Butler, 18, of Woodville, totalled a 1984 Datsun coupe he was driving on Route 618 last Wednesday. According to Capt. Jeff Brown of the Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office, Mr. Butler failed to negotiate a turn on Route 618 and overturned. He was charged by Deputy Connie Compton with reckless driving, failure to maintain control of a vehicle and failure to wear a safety belt. Mr. Butler had minor scrapes and contusions.
