On Saturday, April 27th, the final phase of the cleanup will take place, following the Fodderstack 10K, at the County Park. From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. participants will clean the area from the playground to the river, which was severely disturbed during the floods last summer and winter. A bring-your-own pot-luck picnic supper at the pavilion will follow from 6 p.m. ‘til dusk.
Participants in any of the cleanup efforts should call Hunt Harris at 6751879 or 987-9061 to get their orange bags and help coordinate their location with the overall plan.
