The cleanup will be coordinated through the Ragged Mountain Resource Center with the assistance of the Washington area VDOT headquarters. Local VDOT supervisor Ron Marshall assured Mr. Harris that VDOT will provide bags and vests, and will provide trucks to pick up the bags along the roads following the pickup effort. He does suggest clustering of bags in more heavily trafficked areas to assure safety and efficiency when VDOT comes along to gather the refuse.
