Breakfast Planned
The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor an all-youcan eat breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. on April 14 at the Chester Gap Fire House. The cost is $5 for persons 10 and over.
Soccer Clinic To Start
Rappahannock County Soccer League is holding a soccer clinic on Saturday, April 13 at RCES. Groups will be based on age and will run an hour and a half. Information is available from your soccer coach or Cabin Fever books at 675-1300. The clinic is open to everyone. It is being sponsored by the Soccer Academy.
Kindergarten Registration
All children who will be five years of age by Sept. 30, 1996, may begin kindergarten this fall. Registration for children who are entering kindergarten this fall will be held at RCES from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1-3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, Wednesday, April 17, and Thursday, April 18 by appointment. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
So that the school may plan adequately for new students, it is very important that all incoming kindergartners be registered. Parents are requested to bring birth certificates and social security numbers to registration. Call Raye Tupper or Martha Kidwell at 987-8259 to arrange an appointment for registration.
Video-Discussion Series Set
The IRIS Centre for Shamanic Studies will present its Spring VideoDiscussion series every third Tuesday evening from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Centre at 325-B Middle Street in Washington.
On Tuesday, April 16 “Goddess Remembered”, Part One of the important trilogy of films on women and spirituality, directed by Donna Reed, examines pre-Christian goddess-worshipping religions. Traveling from the caves of paleolithic France to the temples of Malta and Create, this film documents the architectural and artistic remnants of ancient societies which held female images of the Divine at the center of their spiritual practice.

Spring Bazaar Scheduled
The annual Spring Bazaar at Wakefield Country Day School, Inc., Rt. 522, Huntly will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 in the school gym. Free admission. Refreshments will be sold, plants, clothing, appliances, and an upright piano are among the many items.
