The Amissville Ruritan Club at its monthly meeting March 21 voted to donate $175 to Rappahannock High School for Girls State and 450 to Students Against Drunk Driving (SADD) After-Prom Party.
Ruritan members are reminded litter pick up along U.S. 211 is set for April 20.
Reception for the Ruritan National President will be held May 3, 8 p.m. at the Round Hill Club.
The April 18 meeting of the Amissville Ruritan Club will be held at Western Sizzlin’ in Warrenton at 7 p.m.
Other actions at the Ruritan’s March 21 meeting included the following: An auction is planned for May and June with Fred Naramore chairman; will man a booth at the July 4 celebration in Washington, with Jerome Mallory chairman; Family Fun Day is Saturday, Oct. 19, to include BBQ dinner, with Ginny Pierson chairperson.
