Condolences are extended to members of the Yates’ family upon the passing, march 27 of Mrs. Elizabeth Jasper Yates, Widow of Bruce Yates. Mrs. Yates was a native her in Boston having been bom and reared here.

Down Salem Way, we have Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Dodson, son Marc and Leslie and Matthew Dabscon having Easter lunch with Elder and Mrs. Wayne Richards in Luray.

In our Friends and Neighbors column the spotlight falls on Mrs. Tish Smyth, down GrifTinsburg way who with her husband, Sterling and three sons live there. The Smyths enjoy hosting foreign exchange students and at the time have two from Sweden and one from Japan living with them.

Former residents, Mr. and Mrs. George Whorton were guests last week of her mother, Mrs. Thomas Frazier at Jeffersonton.

Mr. and Mrs. Shelvy Frazier and Mr. and Mrs. Mac Pulled dined at Golden Corral in Culpeper on Easter Sunday.
