Joining in the concert and workshop is Pattison, whom Reisler calls “one of the finest lyric writers.” Pattison is also a professor of lyric writing and poetry at Boston’s Berklee College of Music and an author of three books about lyric writing. He conducts songwriting workshops across the country.
Reisler, artistic director of Trapezoid, has performed in over 2,000 concerts, workshops and festivals in the past 20 years. “Birth of a River,” his recently released album, recorded with Bob Read of the Bruce Hornsby Band, is a lively and an intricately composed instrumental and vocal composition.
The upcoming workshop will be divided into small classes where each teacher will instruct on distinct areas.
