Spring has sprung finally! With all the rain our area has had I need a 4-wheel drive lawn mower to cut the grass. The lightning and thunder accompanying this last deluge made me think of summer storms. Spring definitely came in like a lion! * Loosen your belt and come out to the an all-you-can-eat chicken dinner hosted by the Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company, this Saturday, March 28 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., $10 ill enable you to eat all you care to or adults may pay $8 and children under ten years of age may pay $5 for a regular chicken dinner. The fire department is located off U.S. 211. Hope to see you there!
