program, we are ready to move ahead. A privately sponsored recycling program is being developed by local businesses which will put recycling collection centers in several key locations throughout the county.
Recycling involves three simple steps — separate, process, and manufacture. A company will purchase containers from a manufacturer, then for a monthly fee, pick up the materials, sort and sell them to a network of companies and end-marketers.
We will install more user friendly bins, both for public use and for businesses that generate a large amount of material. For example, glass collection for restaurants, paper and cardboard for offices and shipping companies.
