Birthday wishes are extended to Joshua Smoot, who will turn 13 on Saturday, July 4. Joshua is the son of Bobby and Connie Smoot and the brother of Amanda Smoot. We extend best wishes to Joshua and much happiness for the coming year.
Miss Donna Sue (Susie) Smoot is recovering at home after having surgery at Fauquier Hospital last week. We wish her well.
Doug and Beverly Exline and Andrew vacationed in Hershey and Lancaster, Pa. from Monday until Thursday, June 22-25. On Monday they spent the day in Hershey Park and had a great time. On Wednesday they visited the Amish villages and toured Lancaster.
Doug and Beverly Exline celebrated their third anniversary on Wednesday, June 24. The community extends best wishes to the Exline couple and hopes they have many more.
On Saturday evening Mrs. Beverly Exline, Mrs. Anna Clatterbuck and Mrs. Alice Racer shopped in Culpeper and had dinner at Country Cookin.
Lee Edward Keyser, wife Connie and their two children Jessie and Carla, Mrs. Addie Keyser, grandmother of Lee Keyser, and a friend Kathy spent Father’s Day on Sunday with Donald, Pam and Michelle Keyser in Alexandria. Donald is the father of Lee Keyser and son of Addie Keyser. Other Sunday guests for Father’s Day were Leroy Keyser, son of Donald, wife Amy and their son Austin from Springfield. A great time was had visiting and lots of good food including a special Father’s Day cake and ice cream was enjoyed by all.
The community was sorry to hear of the tragic death of Mrs. Ethel Foster on Friday. Our condolences to her husband Frank and family at Scrabble.
Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Donald Keyser and daughter Michelle of Alexandria visited his mother Mrs. Addie Keyser and they had dinner at Dan’s Steak House near Luray.
Our condolences to the Minnie Sealock Fox Kreisher family of Front Royal. She was a former resident of Rappahannock having graduated from Washington High School in town.
Mrs. Ann Simmons and Mrs. Ruth Clark had lunch in Luray on Thursday.
