Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company appreciates all the hard work and long hours logged in by their volunteers during last week’s carnival. Thank You, too, to everyone who came out to support this event. I hope to have a list of the raffle winners for next week’s column.
Congratulations to Amy Flock for winning the title of Honorap' Fire Chief for the Amissville Volunteer and Rescue Company. Her total ticket sales were $2,663! First runner-up was Annie Kilby. Little Miss was won by Nikki Smith who had $1,164 in ticket sales! Ashley Jones was first runner-up and Sarah Elliott was second. All of the ladies were dressed so pretty. We thanked each of them and their families for their efforts.
