The Rappahannock Board of Zoning Appeals met briefly last week to consider an application for a special use permit by Carl W. Letsen Jr. and Sally Letsen of Castleton.
The Letsens were seeking permission to install a mobile home for use as a family apartment on their property near Laurel Mills off Route 619. The application was recommended for approval by the Rappahannock Planning Commission on June 17. It was reported to the board by County Administrator John McCarthy that the commission had had a long discussion about the use of mobile homes as family apartments at its June meeting and approved a
