aunt Julie Noakes, well respected citizens of our community, passed away last Wednesday, at the age of 81 and our sympathy to the family. A sister, Roberta, still lives in our area.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Deane of Dunn, N.C. visited their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Grigsby and family last weekend.
Navy Ensign Peter Heffem was commissioned to his present rank at the recent graduation exercises at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Heffern of Reva way.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory of Castleton Ford spent the weekend in Harrisburg, Pa. and also visited Hershey Chocolate World and en route home motored through Gettysburg where they had a preview of the re-enactment that is taking place this week and weekend.
Joseph Peregory spent the weekend with the Grigsby family.
