Cecil Baldwin joined the Grandma Baldwin’s Day at Calvary Baptist Church in Culpeper on Sunday. Grandma Baldwin, Lily Baldwin, is Cecil’s sister-in-law.
Following the morning worship services, the celebration continued at Country Cookin in Culpeper. The celebration was enjoyed by all. Grandma Baldwin received lots of presents. The reminiscing was great as everyone enjoyed being together.
Congratulations to Jennifer Leake and Daniel Deal, who were wed on Saturday, June 27 at Culpeper Methodist Church. The reception was held at the Country Club in Culpeper.
Mrs. Betty Klise of Flint Hill and three of her grandchildren accompanied by Tiffany and Barbara Wayland enjoyed Wild Side, a zoological park at Madison on Friday.
Tiffany Wayland and Elizabeth Welch of Flint Hill were recent luncheon guests of Mrs. Klise.
There will be many special sales going on this weekend at various shops in the Sperryville area and we encourage residents and their house guests to participate in the festive happenings.
Mrs. Ethel Jenkins of Aroda, Mrs. Catherine Long of Wolftown and Mrs. Thelma Jenkins visited Cecil Buracker and Mrs. Nettie Lang in Luray on Sunday.
The Sperryville United Methodist Church will have worship service at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, July 5. Rev. Merlin Shorb invites the public.
