motion to adopt a resolution changing the wording in the county code to add an additional requirement that a family apartment not be a mobile home. The matter will be advertised for public hearing at the commission’s meeting in July.
The BZA also had a long discussion on the subject but approved the Letsen application, contingent on health department approval, with the stipulation that the structure may only be used by a family member in perpetuity. They also added that the structure must be located as far away from the existing road as the house is on the property.
The next meeting of the BZA will be July 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the courthouse.
