The Administrative Board of the Sperryville United Methodist Church met Thursday night at the church.
Those present were Rev. Merlin Shorb, Mr. and Mrs. Buck Payne, Mrs. Margaret Ann Wayland, Mrs. Phyllis Swindler, Mrs. Emma Swindler, Strother Brown, Hugh Chrisman, Gray Armistead and Mrs. Kim Kilby.
Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard L. Jenkins were Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Fincham of Culpeper and Mrs. Lillie Corbin.
The Sperryville United Methodist Church will have worship service at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8. The Rev. Merlin Shorb invites the community.
Wanda Snead and Barbara Wayland spent Friday in Hagerstown, Md.
