Elizabeth Lee-Harris spoke with enthusiasm and confidence about her plan to establish a women’s bureau to help local, low-income women purchase their own homes through grants and low-interest loans.
She has put considerable time and money into researching about 50 available federal and state housing and small business programs that she thought might provide assistance. Each program has its own requirements that are unique.
