• The board voted to abandon Old Rock Mills Road. No one spoke for or against the matter.
• The amendment to the county code for a new provision for fire and rescue accessory uses was approved.
• Dr. David Gangel, superintendent, reported on the special education enrollment and the need for an additional special education teacher. He said they should be able to fund the position and be in black at the end of the year.
• Commissioner of Revenue Beverly Atkins told the board she wanted their input on what to do about high mileage vehicles and how much tax they should be charged. Board members will investigate the matter and see how other counties are
