Get involved in decision making
process for vacant council seat
The message this week is directed toward residents of the Town of Washington. Next week the town council will appoint a new member to sit on the council and fill the seat left vacant by Peter Skowronski. If you are interested in serving on the council or know someone you think would make a good council member contact the other members of the council and let them know. Public input is an important part of the decision process for councils or boards at any level of government. It is even more helpful in situations where the appointment of another member to fill a vacancy becomes the temporary responsibility of such a body
