the auction starting at 7 p.m. Cost of the dinner is $30 per person. Some of the auction items received include: soccer jersey signed by the Men’s World Cup Team, soccer ball signed by the Women’s World Cup Team, Dale Earnhardt’s racing gloves and ball cap, Ray Stevens autographed video, eight Beanie Babies donated by Rare Finds, gift certificates from the Trading Post, Carter’s General Store, Wal-Mart of Culpeper and several other autographed items and tickets.

The Scouting for Food drive is this month. Troop 200 will be putting out door hangers on Chester Gap on Nov. 14. Canned food and dry goods should be placed in plastic bags by 9 a m. on Nov. 21. Troop 200 will stop by your house and pick up the bags between 9 a.m. and noon. If you do not live in Chester Gap and would like the scouts to pick up the food, call 635-9601. All donated food will go to the Rappahannock County Social Services Food Bank.
