Joyce Raley DeBergh died Oct. 28 at the Warrenton Overlook Care Center.
She was bom on Sept. 13, 1924 at Colon, Panama. She was the only child of Colonel Edward and Alberta Raley.
Surviving are her husband of almost 50 years John R. DeBergh; two daughters Diane and her husband Charles Moore and Deborah and her husband Robert Flournoy Jr.; three grandchildren Adrianne Harris Moore, Morgan Elizabeth Flournoy and Gregory Tyler Flournoy and a favorite cousin Gene Craig from St. Louis, Mo.
Joyce attended Knox, Sweet Briar and George Washington Colleges. In addition to being a housewife, she was a real estate broker. Joyce was a past member of the Rappahannock Hunt and a horse enthusiast.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue, 10 Firehouse Lane, Washington, Va. 22747.
Services will be private.
Wade Clatterbuck
Front Royal resident
Wade Robert Clatterbuck, 70, of Front Royal died Friday, Oct. 30 at the VA Medical Hospital in Martinsburg, W. Va.
Mr. Clatterbuck was born Dec. 11, 1927 in Rappahannock to the late Julia Cook and Harry Benton Clatterbuck.
Survivors include three daughters Barbara J. Dodson and Diane Shirley, both of Front Royal and Louise McGwin of Strasburg; two sisters Virginia Foster and Heddie Jenkins, both of Sperryville and four grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Nov. 3 at Culpeper National Cemetery in Culpeper.
Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
