The scouts have been working on merit badges as a troop each month. In September, the troop completed their Emergency Preparedness badge with a trial search and rescue mission. Scouts who attended were able to locate a missing baby and apply necessary first aide. In October, the troop worked on the Soil and Water Conservation badge. The troop attended a camp out in Shenandoah National Park to work on this badge, Oct. 16 through 18.
