PCS/telecommunications ordinance, as per the joint Planning Commission/Board of Supervisors work session earlier in the month. McCarthy hopes that the supervisors will be able to go over it at their August meeting. He expects to have a resolution ready for the commission next month to hold a public hearing on the ordinance at their September meeting.

• McCarthy informed the commission that the Board of Supervisors gave final approval for the new Amissville Post Office, pending VDOT approval of a turn lane.
• Dr. Krebser asked the members to submit names of two people from each of their respective districts to study the villages in the county for future commercial and residential development. Dr. Krebser and McCarthy estimate that it will take a few months to cover every area.
