What a wonderful week of rain we experienced! This has been the driest I can recall since we have lived in the area. However, I don’t think everyone may be cheering our recent storms. Amissville and Little Fork Volunteer Fire Departments were heard answering emergency calls most of the week. A number of huge trees had to be moved from the roads from Amissville to Madison after uprooting or breaking due to the storm on Saturday.
Betty and Elmer Reedy celebrated their golden anniversary in style on July 24, in the new Fellowship Hall of Warrenton Presbyterian Church on Main Street in Warrenton.
