Caesar’s Egg Salad Sandwich Yields 6 servings 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 4 tespoons minced garlic 1/2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons olive oil 12 hard-cooked eggs, diced 6 individual focaccia breads, baked pizza crusts or pita circles warmed Shredded or torn lettuce Croutons, chopped parsley, green onions for garnish Prepare egg salad: Combine all ingredients to olive oil. Drizzle and whisk in the olive oil. Fold in diced eggs. Cover and refrigerate until serving. For each serving: On a luncheon plate, place focaccia, pizza crust, or pita. Portion about one cup lettuce over bread. Portion about one half cup egg salad over lettuce. Sprinkle with one fourth cup croutons, parsley and green onion.
It’s girl! Sarah Patterson and Mike Williams of Amissville are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Alexis Marie on July 2 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton. Alexis weighed eight pounds and 0.6 ounces and was 20 inches long. Thrilled grandparents are John and Deborah Patterson of Amissville and Bruce and Karen Williams of Chester Gap. Great-grandparents are Richard and Janis Waddell of Matthews Church, Va. and the late Jocelyn Waddell, Richard and Ruth McKlveen of Cocoa Beach, Fla. and the late William Patterson.
