Some of us have probably never milked a cow, fed chickens or made butter. Fifty students from Yokohama Hayato High School in Japan got to do that and more on July 21 at Jordan River Farm in Huntly.
The day on the farm was part of a week and-a-half trip to the states for these students, the school’s Vice Principal, Mrs. Suzuki, and two male Japanese chaperones. They were accompanied by six American group leaders, all college-age, and three staff members from Sakura Educational Exchange USA in Rockville, Md., who made the trip possible.
